During 2001 APBA Factory Class racing, Formula race teams showed their mettle with more podium finishes than any other boat builder, earning the prestigious Mercury Racing Constructor’s Cup. Formula racing crews brought admirable professionalism and sportsmanship to this high-performance sport. The key to FAS3TECH success is a three-part formula resulting in faster speed and solid stability along with extreme structural integrity.


After years of testing different proposals, methods and designs, those proven best were incorporated in each boat’s planing surface and internal structure. To effectively reinforce the hull for challenging offshore conditions, a custom fiberglass matrix–again designed specifically for each individual model–is constructed of foam-filled, specially formulated fiberglass chemically bonded to the hull with space-age Plexus®.

Formula’s dedicated offshore attitude features McLeod® racing-style bolsters and electrically powered footrests for personalized ergonomics and individual security. The aft bench seat is comfortably upholstered over special Dri-Fast® foam that does not retain water. The helm instrument panel consists of a clean-cut array of racing-style gauges read at a glance on the white carbon-fiber background. The wheel is white–sporty in design and proportions.


The cockpit seems electrified by metallic vinyl accents. FAS3TECH cabin lounges and the bow berth are upholstered in white Ultraleather™ for beauty and durability. Lounge seating is comfortably proportioned, an excellent place to relax and refresh after the action. Subtle, indirect lighting and a powerful, high-fidelity sound system complete the satisfying atmosphere. Formula FAS3TECH offers more unique graphic and color choices than any other performance powerboat today. This year the new color palette is Bayport.
