HULL: Long keel multichine with transom hung rudder and largely flush deck.  Material:  Steel to Lloyds tested Grade A.   Grit blasted to Swedish standard S.A. 3 and hot metal sprayed with zinc overcoated with aluminium by the Metco process.   One coat of etching primer followed by three coats of epoxide resin compound,  The weld areas only were filled with epoxide filler  followed by further coats of resin until the required thickness was reached as measured by a dry paint film thickness gauge.

RIG:   True Cutter  (rather than cutter headed sloop).   Proctor custom built aluminium mast with jumper struts, thus allowing the use of the staysail without the drudgery of runners.   S/S rigging with Norseman fittings throughout.    Dynafurl  roller furler on headstay with double grooves for running sails. Twin running booms.

Andrew’s Opinion:- (Personal Opinion)

The hull and rig appear to be in very good order.  The engine,  electrics and plumbing look well installed and meticulously cared for. There is considerable documentation on replacements and servicing.

Equipment in general is of the highest quality, from the B&G instruments to the Rolls-Royce of cookers.

With her heavy displacement  the hull is very voluminous allowing for considerable stowage.   The spacious feeling of the accommodation, with the exception of the aft cabin, is remarkable for a vessel of her length and type.

This is a well equipped and thought out cruising boat (to some like myself, a gem) quality built for strength and low maintenance.   

Owners Comments : Built to a very high standard and has recently been significantly updated and maintained. She is a very comfortable sea boat and very roomy, bright and airy. She has had all new upholstery and mattresses. She is surprisingly nimble under sail and goes well to windward. She is tiller steered with the option of the wind or autopilots. This yacht will take you anywhere in comfort and safety and is in all respects ready to go.
